Underwear is the most direct skin contact garment you own. It is the piece most worth getting right on material quality because it spends the most time against the most sensitive skin on your body.
Conventional underwear is commonly 95% cotton and 5% elastane, which sounds mostly natural until you understand that elastane is a synthetic polymer derived from petroleum. It cannot be separated from the cotton for recycling.
The Organic Cotton 3-Pack Underwear is made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Single jersey, 200gsm. Soft, breathable, and free from synthetic fibres throughout, including the waistband, which is natural cotton elastic.
Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low or hang dry. No bleach. No fabric softener.
Store folded, not hung. Natural fibres retain shape better when folded for longer periods.
Natural fibres improve with proper care. Avoid harsh detergents. Use a gentle, plant-based wash where possible.
At end of life, this garment will biodegrade completely. No microplastics. No synthetic residue.
